Elyse Bryman, LMSW

Elyse Bryman is a Licensed Master Social Worker who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families struggling with a variety of emotional and behavioral concerns. She specializes in evidence-based treatments (EBTs) associated with OCD/anxiety disorders, eating disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, self-injury and chronic suicidality. Such EBTs include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), exposure response prevention (ERP), and acceptance commitment therapy (ACT), with Elyse utilizing a person-centered approach.

Elyse completed her Bachelor's of Science at Kennesaw State University in Human Services with a concentration in social engagement and advocacy. She then went on to complete her Master's degree in Social Work, as well as certification in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Georgia. Elyse completed her clinical internship at the University of Georgia's Counseling and Psychiatric Services, and has also worked in a variety of other settings, including schools and nonprofits.

As Elyse is originally from Georgia, she is always open to suggestions for southern food establishments in the DMV area (or any other food recommendations, as she is a major foodie). In her downtime, you can usually find her hiking, dancing, or hanging out with her cat (Cleo).
