Lori Zastrow, LPC
Lori Zastrow is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who works with teens and adults struggling with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and chronic suicidality. She is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).
Lori completed her Master of Arts in Psychological Counseling at Columbia University and earned a graduate certificate in Women, Gender, and Sexuality. Prior to becoming a therapist, Lori worked as an elementary school teacher and reading interventionist.
Lori’s identity as a Queer person informs her approach to therapy and is foundational to her desire to create an inclusive and safe space for her clients. Outside of work, Lori enjoys spending time with her dog Maisy, exercising at Orange Theory, and exploring new restaurants in the DMV area with her spouse.
