Insomnia
-
About one third of adults report symptoms indicative of insomnia. Symptoms of insomnia are characterized by persistent difficulties with sleeping, including falling asleep and staying asleep. Insomnia is not only frustrating, but incredibly debilitating, as it significantly affects daytime functioning. While occasional sleep disruptions occur from time to time, treatment is typically recommended, should significant symptoms of insomnia persist.

Our providers treat insomnia through use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and if needed, medication management. CBT-I explores the connection between an individual's way of thinking, doing, and sleeping.
