Marital & Relationship Problems
-
While relationships can be challenging and stressful at times, many couples benefit from engaging in couple’s therapy. Couples often seek therapy for a variety of reasons, such as communication difficulties, high conflict, difficulties navigating relationship transitions, feeling distant, lack of intimacy, and infidelity. Couples may also seek treatment to learn how to better support a partner with mental health concerns.

Our therapists utilize evidence-based treatment approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Couples, Enhanced CBT for Couples, Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (IBCT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for high conflict couples. These approaches utilize acceptance and change strategies to help couples better understand their partner, demonstrate greater emotional acceptance of their partner, and change ineffective thought and behavioral patterns.
We also provide pre-marital and enrichment therapy for couples seeking a prevention approach to relationship difficulties. This approach helps couples develop and improve skills to most effectively navigate their relationship and maintain relationship satisfaction.
